"Black (Acoustic Live Session" was recorded in the lounge, Lyra and guitarist/Co-writer Julian Hutson-Saxby recorded the song live, only originally for a guide track; it was soon clear that with Lyra's emotional singing and Julian’s beautiful & subtle playing that this live guide track was meant to be more, and so they uploaded it to Soundcloud for fans and friends to listen to, then to be picked up by BBC6 Introducing with Tom Robinson, where he made Lyra Brae one of his "Gems" and featured black on his show, and later on the Glastonbury Introducing podcast on BBC6.
"Black" was recorded at Green Room studios and produced by Mark Tucker (Show of Hands, Gilmore and Roberts etc.)

Lyra was recently featured again on BBC6 Introducing with this full production version of "Black"; as well as Black being featured on numerous TOP indie radio stations around the world, Many putting "Black" on daily rotation.
